Eye for an Eye

I was commissioned in my first year to make this short film by the IDEAL studio for a competition where students from different schools created films themed around knife crime prevention. I worked with a script by pupils of Taunton Academy. The first lockdown, which happened while I was starting work, stalled production, but the film was brought to life and went on to win the competition.

First storyboard

This is what we were working on when the lockdown began and we had to halt production. The emphasis was on channeling negative emotions into nonviolent hobbies.

Last storyboard

After some time, production resumed with a slightly changed script. The story was still about creative hobbies helping people cope with negative experiences, but the format was a little more focused.
